How does the AI virtual try-on work?
DressMe uses advanced AI image generation to place clothing items onto your uploaded photo. Upload a clear full-body photo, add the clothing items you want to try, and the AI generates a photorealistic try-on image in seconds.
What kind of photo should I upload?
For best results, use a clear full-body photo where your entire body is visible. Stand against a simple, well-lit background if possible. The AI works best with photos taken in good lighting — avoid very dark or blurry images. A front-facing, upright pose gives the most accurate try-on results.
Are my photos stored? Who can see them?
Your photos are encrypted in transit and at rest. They are never shared with third parties, clothing brands, or displayed publicly. You can delete your photos and Lookbook at any time from within the app settings. For full details, see our

How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription anytime through your device's store settings:
iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → DressMe → Cancel Subscription.
Android: Google Play → Menu → Subscriptions → DressMe → Cancel.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, so you'll retain access until then.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google depending on your platform.

Why doesn't my try-on look exactly right?
AI try-on quality depends on the input photo. For best results, use a well-lit, sharp, full-body photo with your whole figure visible. Dark photos, obscured poses, or low-resolution images may produce less accurate results. Try retaking the photo with better lighting and re-generate for improved output.
Can I regenerate a look?
Yes! After a try-on is generated, you can tap the Regenerate button to get a fresh AI interpretation using the same photo and outfit. Each generation is unique, so you may get different results each time.
How do I save or share my look?
After your try-on is generated, you'll see Save and Share buttons on the result screen. Tap Save to download the image to your device's photo library, or tap Share to send it via any app installed on your phone.
Where can I find my past looks?
All your generated try-on images are saved to your Lookbook tab within the app. You can browse, re-download, or delete any past look from there. Tap the image to view it full-screen, or use the download and share buttons directly from the grid.
What is the Style Profile?
Your Style Profile lets you set your body type, preferred colour palette, and style vibes (e.g. Casual, Minimalist, Glam). DressMe uses this information to tailor generated looks to your personal aesthetic. You can update your profile anytime by tapping "Redo Style Setup" in the Profile tab.
The app is crashing or not working. What do I do?
First, try closing and restarting the app. If the issue persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app (your account data will be restored). If you're still experiencing issues, please email us at support@dressmeai.app with your device model, iOS/Android version, and a description of the problem.
How do I delete my account and data?
You can request full account and data deletion by emailing support@dressmeai.app with the subject line "Account Deletion Request - DressMe". Please include your account email. We will process your request within 7 business days and confirm when complete.
Is DressMe available on both iOS and Android?
Yes! DressMe is available on both the Apple App Store (iOS) and Google Play Store (Android). Download it free on either platform and subscribe to unlock unlimited try-ons.

Tips for Better Try-Ons
- Use good lighting — a well-lit photo produces cleaner, more accurate AI results. Natural daylight works best.
- Show your full body — make sure your head, torso, and feet are all in frame so the AI has full context.
- Stand straight, face forward — a natural upright pose gives the most realistic try-on placement.
- Use a simple background — a plain wall or neutral backdrop helps the AI isolate your figure accurately.
- Try multiple styles — each style preset gives a different visual context. Explore them all to see different looks.
- Regenerate for variety — the AI creates a unique result each time, so try regenerating to see different interpretations of the same outfit.
- Mix and match — combine different tops and bottoms to build and compare complete outfits before deciding.
