This Privacy Policy applies to the DressMe mobile application
("Application"), available on iOS and Android, developed by the DressMe Team.
By using the Application, you agree to the collection and use of information
in accordance with this policy.
Information Collection and Use
The Application may collect certain information automatically when you
download and use it, including:
- Your device's IP address and device model
- Usage data (try-ons generated, styles selected, features used, session duration)
- App settings (style profile preferences, display options)
- Operating system version (iOS / Android)
- Crash reports and diagnostic data for app stability
Content You Provide

- Photos of yourself that you upload for AI virtual try-on
- Clothing item images you add for outfit generation
- Style Profile information (body type, colour palette, style vibes)
- Generated try-on history and saved Lookbook entries
- Subscription and account information
- Feedback or support messages you send us
How We Use This Data
- To generate AI-powered virtual try-on images from your uploaded photos and clothing items
- To personalise generated looks based on your Style Profile
- To save and display your Lookbook within the app
- To improve the accuracy and quality of our AI try-on models
- To troubleshoot technical issues and improve app performance
- To analyze usage patterns and enhance the user experience
- To process and manage your subscription
Your Photos
Your Photos Are Private: We take your uploaded photos seriously. Your images are:
- Encrypted in transit and at rest
- Never sold to third parties
- Never shared publicly without your explicit permission
- Used only for generating your AI try-on within the app
- Deletable at any time through the app settings or by contacting support
- Stored securely with industry-standard encryption
- Never used for facial recognition or identity verification
AI Processing
How AI Uses Your Content: When you generate a try-on:
- Your photo and clothing item images are sent securely to our AI servers for processing
- The AI generates a virtual try-on image placing the selected clothing on your photo
- Processed data may be used in anonymized, aggregated form to improve our AI models
- We do not use your photos to identify you or track you across other services
- All AI processing is encrypted and performed on secure infrastructure
- We do not share your personal photos with clothing brands or third-party retailers
Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services to help operate and improve the application. These services may have access to anonymized or aggregated data only.
The Application uses the following third-party services:
- RevenueCat (for subscription management on iOS and Android)
- Apple Analytics / Firebase (for app performance monitoring)
- Crashlytics (for stability reporting and bug tracking)
- AI Image Processing Services (for virtual try-on generation — all data is encrypted during processing)
- Cloud Storage Services (for Lookbook backup and sync)
Platform-Specific Information
iOS (Apple App Store)
- Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID and App Store account
- Apple may collect diagnostic and usage data in accordance with their own privacy policy
- iCloud backup may include app data if enabled on your device
Android (Google Play Store)
- Subscriptions are managed through your Google account and Google Play
- Google may collect diagnostic and usage data in accordance with their own privacy policy
- Google Drive backup may include app data if enabled on your device
Data Storage and Security
Local & Cloud Storage
- Your Lookbook and generated try-on images are stored locally on your device and optionally synced to the cloud for backup.
- We do not sell your photos or personal information to third parties.
- All data transmissions are encrypted using industry-standard protocols (TLS 1.3).
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized
access, alteration, or destruction. This includes encryption, secure
servers, access controls, and regular security audits. However, no method
of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee
absolute security.
Opt-Out Rights
You may stop data collection at any time by:
- Uninstalling the application from your device
- Requesting account and data deletion via support (email below)
- Disabling analytics in the app settings
- Deleting individual try-on images or your entire Lookbook within the app
Data Retention
We retain user data as long as you use the app and maintain an active
account. If you delete the app, local data is removed from your device.
You can request complete deletion of any cloud-synced data by contacting
support. Your Lookbook and generated try-on images remain stored until you
explicitly delete them or request account deletion. Subscription data is
retained by the App Store or Google Play provider for billing history in
accordance with their policies.
Age Restrictions
Age Requirement: This app is intended for users aged 13
and older (or the minimum age required by law in your country). We do not
knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under
13. Users must not upload photos of minors for try-on generation. If you
believe a minor under 13 has provided us with personal information, please
contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete such information.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access to your personal data, uploaded photos, and Lookbook history
- Correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion of your data (including all photos and Lookbook entries)
- Objection to data processing
- Data portability (export your Lookbook history)
- Restriction of processing

International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your
own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in
accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws.
California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the
California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what
personal information is collected, the right to delete personal
information, and the right to opt-out of the sale of personal information.
We do not sell personal information.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in
our practices or for legal reasons. Any changes will be posted on this
page with an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this
policy periodically. For significant changes affecting your photos or personal
information, we will notify you through the app or via email.
